In 1998 Mr. Ariel M. Torres, an entrepreneur, founded Serrotma Trading Ent. Inc., a company then engaged in distributing in thhe Philippines various agricultural equipment and other machineries imported from Japan, China and Korea.
Serrotma Trading thene started bringing several units of electric-powered bikes or "E-bikes" to help alleviate the looming Problem of Global Warming and the high cost of fuel in the Philippines.
In 2005,Serrotma gradually shifted from distributing agricultural equipment to electric-operated and eventually establishes Alternative Modern Transports (AMT) by Serrotma, which specializes in the designing, manufacturing and distribution of world-class vehicles, such as bicycles, scooters, carts and other various customized vehicles for the Philippine market.
In a Span of 3 years, AMT products have gained acceptability & a steady following in the country. AMT products such as E-bikes, E-cars abd iour newly developed "Regenerative Module" ( Our propriety battery booster that increases & extends the E-vehicle's charge significantly, enabling it to run from 320 kilometers to 1000++ kilometers with a Single charge. etc... were introduced,accepted and are now being utilized by a number of local government units or LGU's (provinces, cities, municipalities and barangays) and by the general public nationwide.
Located in the Heart of Manila, Philippines, AMT is commited to provide the general public with affordable, comfortable, cost-cutting & environmentally friendly means of transportation. AMT products do not use Gasoline and runs efficiently on using rechargeable batteries.
AMT's mission-vision is to help both the local and national government by providing an alternative soution that will help solve the current problem of high cost of fuel , noise pollution, and other forms of environmental hazards to filipinos & hopefully to the rest of the world.
